Here is a video of Rage, Bane of Demons for iPhone. There are two different Apps, one for the iPad with normal-size balloons, and one for the iPhone/iPod touch with bigger balloons. And here are their features:

- The Home screen is also the cover of the eBook. It contains an Info button (top right corner) displaying an Help text, a Rage Website link button and a Read button. Read the Help text or the following, at least to know where the invisible buttons are. I have tried every way to make the buttons unobtrusive, so as not to impede reading, but the best solution is to make all the book interface items invisible.

- The Rage Website button leads to this site through the integrated Web Interface. Just click the Rage Website Button to access it, and click the Bookmark button (the first button on the left) to go back to the Home screen.

- The Read button leads you right to the Title page, which will also contain a summary in the next eBooks.

- Once in the Book section, click right and left to turn pages. If you're on the Intro page, click left to return to the Home Screen. If you’re on the last page of the book, click right to return to the Home Screen.

- Beside the left and right buttons, there are three other invisible buttons on top of the screen. Click the top left button to return to the Home Screen, wherever you are in the Book.

- Click the top right button to display a nifty Thumbnails Bar, displaying thumbnails of all 60+ pages of the book. Scroll the Thumbnails Bar with your finger. Click on any thumbnail to display the corresponding page. Click again the top right button to hide the Thumbnails Bar.

- Click the top center button to activate my first try at a making-of : click once to display the color page without balloons. Click again to display the Black & White version of the page. Click again to display the color page without balloons (yes, you see this page two times. It kinds of adds a loop effect). Click again to display the original page with balloons. Note that you can go out of this loop at anytime by turning a page or returning to the Home Screen.

- And that’s not all. On your iPhone, reading full screen is fine, since the balloons are the right size. But you can read it in a bigger format… just by putting your iPhone in landscape position. Then, scroll the page with your finger and navigate in the page.

- Still not big enough? Not to worry, you can zoom too. Just pinch in and out to zoom and navigate in the page as you wish.

- What of double-page spreads, you say? In Portrait Mode, double-page spreads are signaled by three little flashing grey arrows on the right side of the page. It’s just here to indicate that you can scroll through the page, since it’s double-size. And of course, in Landscape mode, double-page spreads are displayed full screen.

- Still not enough? Now, there’s two versions of the book. One censored version and one uncensored version. And I managed to cram both versions in the App. Both versions have been implemented in the App and the App has been accepted by the iTunes Store Team for now. If it is rejected afterwards, I will simply erase the uncensored images, cancel the password button function, and resubmit the Censored version of the App only. But for now, the App is whole and in the iTunes Store, so I would advise you to buy it while you can.

- And here is how it works: Click the upper left of the Home Screen to display a password field. Enter the password to access the Uncensored Interface. You only have to enter the password once. Afterward, you will just have to click the upper left to alternate between Censored and Uncensored interface. And if for any reason, you want to reset the password, click the Info button to access the Info section, then on the upper left of the Info section. Password will be reset and you will have to enter it again to access the uncensored version.

- And of course, you get the password for free. No reason to pay more just to have access to a few pages. Password is written somewhere in an "Uncensored" section of the site (there's only one for now). In the same spirit, I don't plan to include iAds or In-App purchases to these apps. No subscription either. Neither will the pages of the paid Apps be stored somewhere on the Internet. Everything is in the App. You buy the whole package and you get to keep it.

- OK, but what of the App's price? Well, I made it cheap: It's $2.99 for the iPhone App and $3.99 for the iPad version. For all 60+ pages and the functionnalities described here.

- What?! You want to pay even less to read the book?! Okay, don't say I never did anything for you… You will all be able to read the story before buying it (or before not buying it). Prepublication will be free for a limited time on the Rage Website on October the 17th.

- And that’s not all! Huh… wait a minute… No, actually, that’s all. Until I think of something else.
