CHARACTERS FILES

Here are the characters and settings of the first part of the Rage story, in alphabetical order.

item1Dark God Mountain
Dark God Mountain is the place where Rage has been imprisoned. Climbing this mountain is very dangerous (all the more for old and weary Nicodemus). The characters are treading on a very hostile environment.

item5King Kothas
Good King Kothas is an old man, with a grey beard and bags under the eyes. He has been a mighty warrior in his younger years, but these times are long past. After the death of his queen, he remarried with Queen Gelda.

item5aKori, God of Wisdom
Kori is the most reasonable of all the Gods in the Rage Universe. He is the author of the Book of Wisdom, used by Nicodemus to locate Rage.

item6Mark the Guide
Mid-size and well-padded, an all around good fellow, with a little curled beard and round cheeks, Mark is known for his enthusiasm and his penchant for alcohol. He will become a very good friend of all the heroes, without discrimination.

item7Nicodemus
High Mage of King Kothas’ court, Nicodemus is a very old man. He is usually dressed with a long robe which covers his ankles, but also wears clothing to protect himself from the cold in the first part of the graphic novel. Years of magic and responsibilities have worn down Nicodemus, and he is now waiting for a well-deserved retirement.

item4aQueen Gelda
Around 35 and known for her beauty, Queen Gelda is an upstart who married King Kothas for the prestige.

item8Rage
Created by the Gods to destroy demons in the Dark Times, Rage accomplished his mission, then set out to devastate neighboring villages and became an even worse menace than the demons. Angered by his actions, the Gods chained him inside a mountain. Rage is the most beautiful of the cavemen… He is also very intelligent and have a certain charisma, but possesses some form of evil intelligence, that makes him appear sinister even when he is calm.

item9Zas, the All-Father
Zas is a parody of the greek god Zeus. I will try to go with his character as far as in the mythological legends, but within certain limits. The only reason he is the master of all the Gods is that he is the strongest. He is completely irresponsible, and more interested in his personal pleasure than the well being of humans.
