Hi Guys!

Okay, so my book is finally on sale in the iTunes Store (and believe me, it wasn't easy), and the preview has been launched on this site. So what now? Now comes what I dreaded the most (actually, I should have dreaded a few other things too while in production, but well...). Now comes… Promotion!

I knew promotion would be hard since the begining, especially the way I'm handling it: I am not going to buy ads immediately. I'll do this in a month or so. For now, I'm doing PR only, contacting news sites and posting news in some forums and facebook groups. I'm obviously not good at PR, and I have had almost no answer from the news sites. So far, the US site Broken Frontier has published my first attempt at a press release, and the french site Superpouvoir.com has published my second attempt (better written, this time), and will soon also publish an interview (in french only, sorry about it). So for now, very few people know I exist, which doesn't help the sales, but still… something is happening: when I google my name and some chosen Rage keywords, I get more results each week. Let's see how this develops.

In a few weeks, you will have an eBook on sale at least on this site. First, I have to recieve its ISBN number, then I have to implement an eCommerce system on the site, but I believe this will happen sometime before the end of the Preview. At this time, I will also contact eBook agregators, so that my book could be on sale everywhere.

Of course, I would also like to create a printed version of the book, so I am now contacting established publishers. Mostly american publishers at first, since french publishers didn't want the script, but I will get to contact them too. So I'm sending an e-mail to a publisher, wait a few days for an answer, see nothing coming, then try another one. No printed version for now, but I am sure it will happen, someday.

Conventions: Now, that's the part I trust will work. I am going to take a few covers and pages from the book and create a printed portfolio that I intend to sell at conventions. At first, I will try only french conventions and Thony won't be here, since there are a lot of comics conventions in French, and I couldn't spend too much money on this. I might have better chances at being known this way, but it will be only in France, for now.
